Privacy Policy
This policy explains how MZ Adnova Tech LLC, which operates under the MZ Adnova Tech brand (“MZ Adnova Tech”, “we”, “us”), handles information in the MZNOVA Management app for iPhone and iPad (the “app”).
The app is an internal business-management tool. It is distributed privately to our own organization and can only be used by owners, managers and employees who have been given a login by the company. It is not offered to the general public.
Information the app handles
The app only contains information that authorized staff enter or import. Depending on a person’s role, this includes:
- Account information – login ID, display name and role. Passwords are sent over an encrypted connection when signing in and are stored on our server only in hashed form. They are never stored on the device.
- Employee profile information – name and legal name, date of birth, Social Security number, home address, phone, email, emergency contact, profile photo, and employment details such as title, department, hire date and compensation. Compensation and other restricted fields are visible only to owners and managers.
- Business records – client and lead contact details, communication notes, subscriptions, invoices, income and expense transactions, imported bank-statement entries, payment records received from our payment processor (amount, fees, card brand and last four digits only), tasks, projects and KPI results.
- Documents and photos – contracts, receipts and other files that staff choose to attach.
- Audit history – a record of sign-ins and of who created, changed or deleted a record and when.
The app does not collect location, contacts, microphone or camera data, advertising identifiers, or analytics about how you use your device. It contains no advertising and no third-party analytics or tracking tools, and we do not track you across other companies’ apps or websites.
How we use this information
We use the information solely to run our business: managing clients, sales, invoices, finances, staff, tasks and documents; keeping every authorized device up to date; and maintaining security and an audit trail. We do not sell personal information and we do not use it for advertising.
Where it is stored and who can see it
Information is stored on the device and synchronized over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection with our company server at mzadnova.com, which is hosted with Cloudflare. Access inside the app is limited by role, so staff see only what their job requires.
We share information only with service providers that host or process it on our behalf (such as Cloudflare for hosting and Square for payment records), or when the law requires it.
Security
Connections to our server are encrypted. The app keeps its sign-in session in the iOS Keychain, passwords are stored only as salted hashes on the server, and an owner or manager can deactivate an account at any time, which signs that person out of the app.
Retention and your choices
We keep records for as long as they are needed to operate the business and to meet legal, tax and employment record-keeping requirements. Staff can review and update their own profile in the app. To request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, or to have your account closed, contact us using the details below. Some records may need to be kept where the law requires it.
Children
The app is intended only for our adult staff and is not directed to children.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will post the updated version on this page and revise the effective date above.
